Sunday School
Sunday School classes are held every Sunday at 9:20 a.m. from September through May. Classes are open to all ages and stages.
FUMC prides itself on the outstanding quality of our children’s Sunday School program and its overall effectiveness at meeting the needs of our children. Our Sunday School program is a place where games, activities, contemporary music, and creative teachings of the Bible truths are used to reach this generation of kids in a way that is fun and relevant to them. Shepherded by adult leaders who teach and model for them what it means to be a follower of Jesus, your child will be supported, encouraged, and prayed for as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Special opportunities also exist outside of Sunday School throughout the year for the children to continue to grow, serve, reach out, and learn. These may include Vacation Bible School, a Christmas Play, summer camp opportunities, and children’s choir to name a few.
Junior Church
Is offered the 2nd and 3rdSundays of each month during the 10:30 service, except when special guests or presentations might be occurring (i.e., Anniversary Sunday, Christmas, Easter). Children ages 5 through fifth grade attend regular service through the hymn of preparation and then are escorted to the assigned room where volunteers lead them through an age appropriate worship service.
Children’s Message
The Children’s Message is offered once a month during the 10:30 service. The Pastor or volunteer provides a biblical story that children can relate to.
