2015 and 2016 Youth Events, Mission and Outreach Trips

Winter Blast January 23-25 2015 in Dallas, PA:

The Youth Group had the opportunity to fellowship more with one another, participate in many different activities, have corporal worship and prayer, and hear some awesome teachings.

Mission Trip from June 13-20, 2015 in the greater New York City area:

The Youth Group had an opportunity to participate in different kinds of missionary activities in New York City. We did ministry in different areas of New York City that are in constant, desperate need for the light of the Gospel. We went into the streets of New York City to evangelize in places where Hindus and other non-Christian religions are practiced, we did street prayers (Prayer Station) by splitting into many different groups by praying for the needy, the sick, and those wounded (we also handed out many Christian pamphlets), we helped local churches with their food pantry, served in helping maintenance inside the YWAM buildings, sought the Lord for personal breakthroughs, etc. It was an amazing experience for all of us with many spiritual breakthroughs, supernatural physical healing, feedings of the needy, physical labor service, etc.

Rake Day on November 27, 2015 in Schuylkill County, PA:

This was a service done as a fundraiser with the goal to help those people who needed help with raking and/or other needs (mostly the elderly members from the FUMC's congregation).

Winter Blast January 29-31, 2016 in Dallas, PA:

The Youth Group had the opportunity to fellowship more with one another, participate in many different activities, have corporal worship and prayer, and hear some awesome teachings.

Outreach: Prayer Station on April 16, 2016 in the center of Pottsville, PA:

We set up our Prayer Station in the center of Pottsville and spread a few teams around the city in order to reach out to the broken people. We prayed for the city, talked with people about the Gospel, asked people if they needed prayers, and handed out different Christian pamphlets.

Lock-In and Service to the community in June 17-18, 2016 in Schuylkill County,  PA:

Prior to starting our Lock-In, we offered to help many elderly from the FUMC's congregation, we helped with the FUMC's food pantry, and a group of us went to pray for a couple of hours for a  person who was suffering with a severe cancer (after these prayers, it was reported that he stopped many of his medications and that he regained his strength so much that he could even mow his lawn! Praise the Lord!!!).
