Sunday School and Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Sunday School

Sunday School classes are held every Sunday with an opening in the Nursery at 10:30 am for Pre-K through 6th grade and then from 11:00 am to 11:30 am in individual classrooms from September through May. Classes are open to all ages and stages.

FUMC prides itself on the outstanding quality of our children’s Sunday School program and its overall effectiveness at meeting the needs of our children. Our Sunday School program is a place where games, activities, contemporary music, and creative teachings of the Bible truths are used to reach this generation of kids in a way that is fun and relevant to them. Shepherded by adult leaders who teach and model for them what it means to be a follower of Jesus, your child will be supported, encouraged, and prayed for as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Special opportunities also exist outside of Sunday School throughout the year for the children to continue to grow, serve, reach out, and learn. These may include Vacation Bible School, a Christmas Play, summer camp opportunities, and children’s choir to name a few.

Christmas 2014 | Youth Program

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Vacation Bible School is a week-long summer program offered for children ages four through sixth grade. The entire congregation, from youth through and including senior adults, joins together in developing and presenting a program designed to teach our children about God’s love.

We hope to see lots of children and volunteers again this year who are eager to teach and serve in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ and to grow in His Word!

VBS was lots of fun and was enjoyed by many.

It was another great year making it a wonderful experience for all of God's children.
