It’s the Christmas season! Only the most anticipated, most celebrated, most awesome month of the year! While the presents and lights and decorations are nice; you know what this holiday is really all about? Christmas is about celebrating Jesus!
We invite you to take a Christmas ADVENTure as we celebrate the birth of Jesus -- God’s greatest gift!
is a feeling of expectation, anticipation, and excitement!
"For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of his government and peace
there will be no end."
~Isaiah 9:6-7
means to be calm and free from worry!
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
~Philippians 4:6-7
is similar to happiness but goes much deeper.Joy isn't based on what's happening in our lives, but on God's goodness!
"Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
~1 Peter 1:8
is at the heart of Christmas.
"For God so LOVED the world world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. 'Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him." John 3:16-17
